Coffee Morning - April 22nd 2017

On Saturday 22nd April Plymtree C of E Primary School held a coffee morning to
raise money for the outdoor area outside Ash  (the youngest class), including a
mud kitchen and for money towards ICT equipment for the whole school. This
event was co-ordinated by Vicky Maycock, a teaching assistant and parents on
the FOPs committee (friends of Plymtree school). Parents and staff brought in
cakes, children donated prizes for the tombola and we had an extremely popular
Chinese Raffle; prizes were donated from parents and local businesses and were
presented to the winners at the end of the coffee morning by Head of School,
Alex Cutler. Pupils also helped run stalls and some of the younger children led
tours around the school. The event was well attended  and raised a magnificent
£1280.
"I am speechless to how members of staff and some parents worked
tirelessly to make this event such a success and know that all the children at
school will benefit hugely from this event." Alex Cutler
