Pixie's Holt residential
In June 2009 Pine class spent 3 fabulous days and 2 nights at Pixie’s Holt in Dartmeet. We had an adventurous and fun filled time, all partaking in a range of activities. These were: - orienteering in Soussons wood, a night walk, scrambling on Grea Tor, rock climbing on and abseiling down Hound Tor and zip wiring across a river on our final day. This was an extremely active residential and a lot of liveliness and enthusiasm was needed from all, (which was definitely fuelled by the delicious and plentiful catering). Over all we all considered it to be an exceptionally successful residential – huge thanks to Mrs Batten, Ms. Foulds and Mr Killen for their help, zest and energy which contributed to everyone’s enjoyment.
