Sustainability at Plymtree School

As well as recycling and composting food waste the school has recently installed solar panels which are expected to cut the carbon footprint of school by nearly three tonnes a year. It is hoped that the solar panels will  generate more than 3,240 units of clean energy every year.

In addition a weather station has been installed with a near real time data feed which is shown below.
